Euphorizone
Euphorizone is no less than an instrumental and vocal diversity of rock with a hint of the progressive thrown in. Melancholy and art-rock fantasies with the use of electronics, combined with a metal kick, create a horizon of sounds and words in which a group of passionate musicians found their way, creating their own sound zone together.
The band was founded in September 2016 in Gniewków (currently stationed in Bydgoszcz). To begin with it was an instrumental formation. In January 2017, Michał joined as vocalist. In this line-up the band recorded several singles, for which music videos were created, and played several concerts. In the meantime, there were a few changes at the drummer's position. Finally, in mid-2019, Maciej joined the team. The line-up seemed to be established, new material and concert and publishing plans were being created. As part of their first joint performance, the band played "The Smallest Concert in the World" at the Gniewkowski Community Center. Shortly afterwards, due to personal reasons and the desire to develop a solo career, guitarist Tomek left the group. After a long search for a worthy successor, in 2020, Krzysztof), known for his previous joint projects, joined. Unfortunately, the Covid era arrived, which made it very difficult for groups to play live. The only thing left to do was to lock themselves in the rehearsal room and create the material. The band played several concerts in 2022 and 2023, during which time they recorded their debut album in the studio (with Zbyszek Florek from Quidam).
The album, entitled INVICTUS, was released on May 5, 2023. It contains 12 original compositions (including 3 instrumental ones). Initially in streaming (Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, etc.), the physical version in the form of a Digipack CD is available from May 30, 2023. On April 21, the single promoting the album was released along with a music video of the same title - Invictus.
Currently, the band consists of a mix of musicians from Bydgoszcz, Inowrocław and Toruń. Rehearsals take place in Bydgoszcz, where the band is based.
