Lebowski

Lebowski

Lebowski is a group whose style is often described under the moniker of ‘music for a film still-to-be-born’. Their album ‘Cinematic’, released in 2010 is a nod of respect to some of the well-known characters of Polish cinema,  showcased by music intertwined with original quotes from classic Polish films and world cinematography.

Despite the lack of support from the big recording studios and mass media, the group have managed to furrow out for themselves a long and impressive road of activity. Their debut album ‘Cinematic’ was well-received by listeners of ambitious rock music both in Poland and abroad, which meant a great result for the album’s sale – over 6000 copies in CD format as well as a number of limited edition vinyl copies.

Speaking of the power of sound in the music of LEBOWSKI, it i also worth mentioning the group’s concert appearances which, staged according to an effective visual framework, create unforgettable spectacles in cozy club and screen conditions before large audiences, which have been successes in places such as The International Rock Conspiracy in Berlin and The Ino-Rock Festival in the city of Inowrocław, where LEWBOWSKI appeared together with Brendan Perry (Dead Can Dance) as well as the Swedish group Pain Of Salvation.
