Alcantara is an Italian psychedelic progressive rock band founded in Catania by Francesco Venti and Sergio Manfredi Sallicano in 2019. Their music is a visionary cinematic journey for listeners who appreciate the atmospheric worlds of Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and the post-rock landscapes of Godspeed You! Black Emperor

The band's debut album, Solitaire, was released in 2020 and quickly established itself as one of the most acclaimed Italian progressive rock releases of the year. With its gloomy blues, expansive space ballads, and clear Pink Floyd influences, the album received widespread critical recognition. Released by Progressive Gears Records, it reached the Top 10 Best Italian Progressive Rock Albums of 2020.

Released in June 2025, Tamam Shud represents the second chapter of Alcantara's artistic journey. The music became richer and more visceral, with reverberating guitars and slide guitar textures intertwining with slow, deep rhythms. The vocals—alternately narrative and dreamlike—move between Italian and English, evoking distant places and suspended emotional states. The title, meaning "it's over" in Persian, symbolizes the end of one cycle and the beginning of an infinite sonic journey.

Released on June 19, 2026, In Concert captures the band's intensity and energy on stage. The album features the complete live performance of Tamam Shud alongside a carefully selected collection of the finest tracks from Solitaire, transforming Alcantara's artistic vision into a powerful and cohesive live experience.
